Upstage Forum

Hello everyone.

The Upstage forum has been set up! We would like to encourage people to participate in this forum as a means to discuss all things related to theatre and film. It would be a good way to meet people of similar interests along with potential opportunities to partake in theatre/ film projects! You don’t have to be a member of Upstage to join or join Upstage to be a member of the forum! So what are you waiting for? Sign up. Hesitant? God’s Favourite: Postponed

Due to certain administration issues, UPSTAGE’s latest play, God’s Favourite, will be postponed till a later date in 2007 (end 2007).

We thank you for all your support so far and please watch this space because we will be back soon!

OPEN AUDITIONS: God’s Favorite

Auditions for God’s Favorite will be held at The Substation (45 Armenian Street) from 11am to 3pm on the 7th of April 2007 (Saturday) in Classroom 1 (it’s upstairs). If you’re unable to attend at this date, you may arrange a separate audition date, but please give us a good reason beforehand.

The show has 5 male roles and 4 female roles.

No prior experience in acting or preparation for the audition is required.

NEW PRODUCTION – Neil Simon’s God’s Favorite!

UPSTAGE, fresh from its success Bedroom Farce, is proud to next present Neil Simon’s God’s Favorite, a modern twist on the story of Job, featuring a Long Island mansion, a pious, God-fearing tycoon named Joe Benjamin and his family: a long-suffering wife, Rose, a prodigal son, David, a pair of kooky twins, Ben and Sarah, and the maid and butler, Mady and Morris.
